Artist: Ana Laura González Media: Polaroid Emulsion Transfer ![]() Ana has been involved in photography for over 25 years. She has photographed the natural world extensively and created , a series of digitally manipulated images originally captured as photographs and then transformed into surreal renderings where portions of reality may or may not be seen Among her grants and awards are a Special Opportunity Stipend grant from NYFA, the Phillip Isenberg Memorial Award (1st prize in photography) at the Washington Square Outdoor Art Exhibit and 2nd prize in photography at the Housatonic Art League Art Show. Ana was a Polaroid Creative Use Consultant and led workshops on Polaroid Emulsion (lifts) and Image Transfer processes. She has presented her workshops at The Print Center in Philadelphia, the Adirondack Lakes Center for the Arts, the Highland Cultural Center, Somerset Art Association. Ana has been invited to judge International Salons and camera club competitions on many occasions. Animals Animals/Earth Scenes, a stock agency specializing in images of the natural world, has represented her work since 1992. |
