Artist: Howard Curtiss Media: Colored Pencils My art works are mostly done with colored pencil although I do some pen & ink or combinations of the two. All of my paintings are based on photographs I have taken locally (moved to Tucson in 1997) or in my travels. I started drawing in early elementary school and have enjoyed art ever since. My education, however, was in Aerospace engineering (Masters Degree) in which I worked in Seattle, Philadelphia, Boston and lastly, Denver. I have taken some art classes & workshops recently including 3 courses at the Arizona Sonora Desert Museum Art Institute. I am currently a member of the Tucson Colored Pencil Artists Association and the local Foothills Artists.
