Artist: Marjorie G. Miller Media: Fine Art Photography Over a period of almost 40 years, Marjorie G. Miller studied watercolor and acrylic painting with several very good teachers. During these years, she developed her own unique style. Her artwork incorporates a pallet of vibrant colors and a wide variety of themes. It was a combination of training and her natural artistic ability that nurtured her enthusiasm and love of painting for so many years. She was a member of the Arizona Watercolor Association (AWA) and Contemporary Watercolors of Arizona. (CWA) Marjorie G. Miller was born in Council Bluffs, Iowa in 1923. She joined the Navy Waves during WWII and was stationed at Farragut, Idaho. There she met her husband. They moved to Phoenix, Arizona in 1945 where they raised five daughters. In 2007, Marjorie had to curtail her painting because of macular degeneration. She now lives in Tucson, Arizona with her daughter, Paula Noel, who photographs her work to be used in note cards, and signed miniature reproduction art. If you are interested in more information on her note cards, signed miniature reproductions, or original artwork please visit our web site at: mandmwatercolors.wordpress.com or e-mail any questions or comments to Marjorie at: margeargie@yahoo.com. |
